Havre saloon owner turned real estate speculator Frank Chesnut had this
Prairie style home built for him and his family. The Prairie style was
developed by Frank Lloyd Wright as a reaction to the ornate Victorian
period homes. The Prairie style is noted for its clean, low lines and
many projections.
